Lonely mouth

I developed the brand identity for Lonely Mouth with a focus on creating something bold, playful, and full of personality a deliberate contrast to the minimal, restrained identities that were trending at the time. Inspired by Japanese café graphics, retro food culture, and contemporary editorial illustration, the visual language takes a maximalist, illustration-led approach to evoke warmth, abundance, and nostalgia.

The goal was to soften and energize the café’s warehouse-style industrial interiors, using saturated color, tactile grain, and lively compositions to bring comfort and approachability into the raw architectural space. The result is a distinctive, joyful identity that stands apart from its contemporaries while transforming the atmosphere it inhabits.
