Silk Laundry Collection Four For the Nature’s Laboratory collection, the visual system was informed by Silk Laundry’s travel diary–led inspiration rooted in the Amazon rainforest. Described by the brand as “nature’s biggest laboratory,” the collection draws on themes of exploration, biodiversity, and environmental awareness, referencing documentary research, field study, and lived experience in nature.
While I did not direct the imagery or develop the original campaign concept, I was responsible for creating the graphic language that framed the collection. I translated the idea of journey and discovery into a cohesive visual system using typewriter-style scientific typography, image curation, added grain and texture, and a series of custom stamp illustrations that reference documentation, travel, and archival ephemera.
This visual language was applied across a wide range of deliverables, ensuring consistency from editorial to product. These included lookbooks and editorial layouts, website pages and app interface updates, packaging design, collaboration packaging for a candle release, and illustration for a T-shirt collaboration. Throughout all applications, I carefully curated existing photography and backgrounds, balanced a bold yet harmonious colour palette, and layered type, texture, and graphic devices so that every layout felt intentional, grounded, and unified within the overarching collection identity.
